Straight Pours, Ring Pours, & Variations

There are so many ways to create fluid art! This section has grouped together straight pours, ring pours, wandering pours, and other variations, including split cup pours.

Evolution of Blue (one of a 3 piece series using the same metallic blue colors) | This is a "wrecked" ring pour in which I rolled a marble through the pour to create the design.

Dissolving Vortex | Super vibrant colors along with an iridescent blue black make for a great contrast in this straight pour. The density of the paints is what caused the cell reaction you see over half the canvas.

Golden Galaxy | This is a dirty pour in which I used two colors (plus a little white) and made the paints super thin. I then poured them into a cup from higher up to allow the paints to "overmix" some. Then I poured them from the cup onto the canvas

Spring Vibrations | A vibrant ring pour done as part of my Spring series.

Alien Landscape | A triptych dirty pour done with 3 cups, each containing just two colors (plus a little white). I was going for a progressive color change from one panel to the next. It looks almost like an alien world with an amazing vibrant sky!

Cosmic Flow/Cold Lava | I couldn't decide on a name for this piece initially, so now it has 2! I used two cups of layered color and used a wandering straight pour technique, which I then stretched out by tilting the panel. This is one of my largest p
